Craft Bearing Company, Inc. (USA) announced it has joined the Bearing Specialists Association.
"We are very excited and proud to be accepted by this elite group of manufacturers and distributors," said Jeff Pennetti, Vice President. "With Craft's expertise and experience, we hope to make a contribution to this fine organization and support its efforts to provide service and support for bearing end users."

Craft manufactures a patented split cylindrical roller bearing. The heavy cast pillow block assembly is designed to be disassembled and serviced in place.

Applications for the units are sugar mills, steel mills, Navy cranes, large conveyors and other heavy-duty uses. They are made for shafts as small as 1-7/16" up to 32" - the 12" shaft unit, for example, weighs 742 pounds and is 27" high.

In 2001, Craft moved into its current Chestnut Avenue facility in Newport News, Virginia.
