GGB New Filament Wound Bushings Handbook

GGB has issued a new 60-page designer’s handbook for its line of high-load, self-lubricating filament wound bearings, including new HPMB™ machinable bearings.

Also included are GAR-MAX®, GAR-FIL®, HSG™, MLG™, HPF™, HPM™ and Multifil™ bearing materials and MEGALIFE® XT thrust washers. These materials combine the lubricating properties of filled PTFE with the high strength and stability of an oriented glass fiber wound structure.

Applications include aerial lifts, snowmobile/ATV/ CVT clutches, water turbines and construction, agricultural, material handling, processing, waste/recycling, packaging, railroad and other types of equipment.

The handbook covers general characteristics, product descriptions, design data, performance, misalignment, installation and machining, and standard offerings, including European size ranges.
