Boca Bearings sponsored RC driver John Bernard jr. shares Q2 results: Q2 has been great. I’ve been trying to focus a little more on supporting my fellow racers at the track and on the internet. I’ve added four Yellow Seal bearing Slash 4x4 installation videos on my Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/Bigman4415?feature=mhee documenting a complete bearing replacement. The bearings immediately made the Slash 4x4 feel freer and I can’t wait for them to break in. I plan on doing quite a few more instructional videos with my other vehicles as well. I’ve competed in several club events from mid to north Florida. I was also able to participate in the first annual Sunshine State Classic at Shiverville Raceway in High Springs, Florida. The track was amazing as usual. After one round of qualifying, I had TQ’d blinky stock short course with the only 16-lap run in the round, I also qualified 5th in mod short course, and 6th in mod 2wd buggy. Starting round two, the weather was looking ominous as the radar showed showers approaching. The round started and I was able to secure my number one position in blinky stock short course with another 16-lap run. I had hopes of improving my mod short course and mod buggy positions in the second round but the weather didn’t agree. There was a long delay but the event was ultimately called for rain.
