Delegation from SKF Visited Henan Science & Technology University

On Dec. 18th, a delegation constitutes of Doctor Wen Tianyou, the Senior Expert of bearing tribology from SKF China Company & the part-time professor of Henan Science & Technology University and Ms. Jessica, manager of the HR department of the company, etc. has visited Henan Science & Technology University and was warmly welcomed by the leaders and teachers as well as the students from the Foreign Affairs Department and Mechanoelectric Engineering College of the university. The delegation has discussed the technological cooperation, personnel training and graduates employment, etc. with the Mechanoelectric Engineering College and the two parties have expressed their wishes for better cooperation. After the meeting, Doctor Wen Tianyou and Ms Jessica have given lecture on the general situation and development strategy of SKF Company to the graduate students from the mechanielectric engineering college and answered the questions from the students. The delegation has also visited China Bearing Showroom.

Doctor Wen Tianyou has graduated from Tribology Key Lab. of Imperial College of Science & Technology and is the academician of Britain Imperial Machinery Engineering Academy & Chemical Academy as well as the part-time professor of Tsinghua University and the University of Hong Kong, etc. He has worked for one year in Henan Science 7 Technology University in the 80s in the last century and has done a lot of guiding work in the start of the tribology and lubrication research in the university. In recent years, Doctor Wen has visited the university for several times and has been invited as the part-time professor of the university; has established close technological cooperation relation with the university, meanwhile, he has established the “Wen Ye Wu Jiao” scholarship in the university under his personal name.
