The Ring Drive Shaft Project with the Annual Production Capacity of 300,000 Sets will be Put into Operation in October

Reporters visited Xuzhou Ring Drive Shaft Project site which locates in Xuzhou Economic & Technical Development Zone on July 26. The four buildings have already completed, the raw material base and picking was doing internal decoration, processing workshop and assembly workshop were installing all kinds of production equipment. According to the introduction made by Chen Buzhen, who is the deputy general manager of Xuzhou Ring Drive Shaft Manufacturing Co., Ltd and also the responsible person for this project, the newly introduction of 135 sets of vehicle drive shaft special equipment will be deployed by the end of August, and began to make trial production during September 20 , meanwhile will be formally put into operation in October. This project with the annual output of 300,000 sets of drive shaft will fill the production gap for Jiangsu engineering mechanical drive shaft.

The drive shaft tube produced by Xuzhou Ring Drive Shaft Manufacturing Co., Ltd accounts above 65% among the national market, however, it can just supplying for the processing industry in the past, yet now this new project is the outspread for the original products, which could directly supply for engineering machinery and auto manufacturers. After the project has been fully completed, it will mainly meet the production demand of XCMG auto crane and loaders, thus to change the situation for depending on imported ones.

Among the newly introduced special equipment, there are 12 sets of processing center from Taiwan, which are mainly for the flange yoke & fork of drive shaft. Other 6 sets of production line from Changsha are mainly for spline shaft, with the largest pulling of 60 tons and the 1.9 m broach travel distance, it could pull spline shaft for heavy vehicles with the inner diameter of 90 mm and 30 tooth. Besides, there is also the domestic most advanced CNC machine tool and other special equiment from Shenyang.

At present, five drive shaft production lines have been installed in place, other five production lines will be installed next month, at the same time, the paint line, cast pill line, assembly production line and other relevant equipment is undergoing the tension installation now.
