ZKL Group successfully fight against counterfeits and misuse of ZKL trademark

As amerged from the notification of the Customs Office of Mělník dated June 28, 2012, the customs authorities detained 4328 pieces of ball bearings under the trademark ZKL. Bearings was not made in the company ZKL Klášterec nad Ohří, a.s., but by Hafei KONCON BEARING CO., LTD., Ltd. in Jinzhai Road, Hittites, Aukum in China based on the order of Ebisu holding, a.s., ID: 35821833 based in Bratislava, Grösslingova 7, Slovakia.

The legally effective decision of the Municipal Court in Prague confirmed rightness of the Customs Office in Mělník dated June 28, 2012, to the effect that Ebisu holding company, a.s. brake the rights concerning the intellectual property of ZKL Group.

On the basis of the decision of the Municipal Court in Prague:
1) Seized goods will be destroyed.
2) The criminal proceedings continue against members of the Board of Ebis holding, a.s.
3) ZKL Group will demand compensation for damage.
This case is a proof for customers to buy ZKL bearings from certified distributors or directly at the manufacturer from the company:
