The activity—" Doctors’Trip to Luoyang", was officially launched on March 14, of which the theme of the first session was “Luoyang Agricultural Machinery Industry”. 18 doctors, who came from research institutes and universities like Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beihang University, University of Electronic Science and Technology etc. studying electronic communications, machinery manufacturing and internet etc., attended the activity. The delegation visited 12 companies, such as CITIC Heavy Industry, YTO Group Corporation, LYC, Luoyang CIMC Lingyu Automobile, LYXQL® Slewing Ring Bearings, Henan Yongsheng Motorcycle, Luoyang Shiying Machinery Production, Luoyang Fengshou Agricultural machinery to know their technical problems and seek cooperation between production and research.
As a partner of and cooperated with YTO Group Corporation in the research and development, Luoyang Institute of Information Technology Industry rolled out the first-generation intelligent tractors, named Dongfanghong, in July 2016. They have been advancing the research and development for new generation products. During the visit in YTO Group Corporation, they had a profound discussion on the development trend of tractors, market demand and technical difficulty.
During the visit in CITIC Heavy Industry, they seek the opportunity for cooperation in the intelligentialize of robotics, Industrial Internet of Things etc. In LYC, they shared their views on the intelligentialize of bearings.
Agricultural and engineering machinery play a dominant role in the advanced equipment manufacturing industry in Luoyang city. In recent years, with the deep integration of information technology and manufacturing, the agricultural and engineering machinery industry in Luoyang developed rapidly in a comprehensive way. But problems like weak independent innovation ability, low content of technology in product, lack of local characteristics in mechanization in mountainous areas etc. still remained. This is an important year to carry out the “Thirteenth-Five Plan”and to promote the Supply-side Structural Reform, bringing new opportunities for technology innovation in agricultural mechanization.
It is known that, Luoyang Institute of Information Technology Industry will organize regular several hundred doctors to visit Luoyang, doing technological research on other industries, examining enterprises and finding solutions for them. The scientific research achievements by the team might be directly used in cooperation with these enterprises, or transformed into productive forces through "Internet + + Makerspace" in Luoyang, integrating technology and industry so as tp promote the development of Luoyang industry.
