New standards released by China railway industry: Focus on locomotive bearings and freight safety.
Recently, the National Railway Bureau has issued two batches of technical standards for the railway industry, including "Rolling Bearings for Locomotives and Electric Motor Bearings" and "Technical Requirements for Railway Freight Inspection." These changes will come into effect from March 27, 2024.
In addition, since all the technical content of "Auxiliary Converters for Electric Multiple Units" (TB/T 3411-2015) has been incorporated into the national railway standard "Converters for Railway Locomotives and Electric Multiple Units" (GB/T 34575-2023), the former will be abolished starting from March 27, 2024.
