As a key link, the drilling process of the rivet holes of the iron cage has always used ordinary drilling machines. The quality of manual operation processing is greatly affected by the proficiency and experience of the personnel, resulting in the cage aperture and relative position being difficult to guarantee, prone to deviation, and low processing accuracy. Each drilling requires repeated position adjustment, which consumes a lot of time in batch production and has low production efficiency.
The spare parts workshop always puts production efficiency and processing accuracy first. The limitations of ordinary drilling machines urgently need to be improved to improve process quality and production efficiency. Recently, in the processing of a batch of cages, the drilling process was successfully changed from traditional rocker drilling to CNC machining center drilling by transforming waste fixtures. After continuous adjustment and improvement, the relative position deviation of the rivet hole is only 0.2mm, which is 10 times higher than the original process accuracy. This improvement not only significantly improves the machining accuracy of the aperture position, but also greatly improves the efficiency of repetitive machining, while effectively reducing the labor intensity of manual operation. Fixture innovation and process improvement not only improve production efficiency, but also provide guarantee for product quality.
