Luoyang Invest RMB8.74 billion in Launching Manufacturing Projects

It is reported that Luoyang city had decided to invest over RMB8.74 million to launch 67 manufacturing projects in 2006. In order to strengthen some existing manufacturing powers in Luoyang, such as Luoyang No.1 Tractor Plant, Luoyang LYC Bearing Co.,Ltd, Luoyang Float Glass Group Co.,Ltd, the local government attached more importance to industrial restructuring and technological reform. In addition, the local authority also listed some projects enjoying special priorities. The projects include the following: Luoyang No.1 Tractor Plant's developing projects of medium and great power tractor, steel crank forging, heavy-duty auto and capacity expansion project to increase diesel engine annual output to 8000 sets. Luoyang Copper Processing Plant's project to expand annual capacity of high precision copper strip and copper strip for electric appliances to 23,000 and 100,000 tons respectively. Luoyang Float Glass Group Co.,Ltd's developing project of LCD glass and float glass production line. Luoyang LYC Bearing Co.,Ltd's developing project of railway bearings and technological reform project. Some other less prior projects include: Luoyang No.1 Tractor Plant's developing projects of great power diesel engine, 160 horsepower or even higher tractors and large engineering machines. Luoyang LYC Bearing Co.,Ltd's developing project of bearings for wind power generator and so on.
