2006 Top 10 News in Chinese Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Seal Industry
Recently, China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association(CHPSA) selected 10 news in the past year. The association said that they hope these news could play an active role in promoting the development of hydraulics pneumatics & seals industry in China. The events are as following:
1. Working out the 11th Five-Year Plan for the hydraulics pneumatics & seals industry, making clear the industrial target, proposing measures and policies to develop the industry.
2. Record high have been made in almost all fields of this industry in 2006. Statistics from about 400 major enterprises show, sum output value hit RMB28.5 billion, increased by 32%; hydraulics make RMB16.1 billion, 23% higher than last year; pneumatics earn RMB5 billion, a increase of 45%; seals contribute RMB6.2 billion, increasd by 29%.
3. Technical upgrading and steping forward in independent innovation. 7 projects were granted the 2006 China Science & Technology Award for Machinery Industry. Besides, 52 new products from 28 enterprises have been approved as Industrial Quality New Products by CHPSA.
4. Releasing the participant enterprises of the State-supported Technological Developing Program which is guided by the 11th Five-Year Plan, for hydraulics, pneumatics and seals industry.
5. Shanghai Hydraulics Co.,Ltd be given the titles of "Famous Brand Enterprise" and "Famous Brand Products"; Zhejiang Guotai Seals Material Stock Co.,Ltd be named "National Top 100 Excellent Private Enterprise".
6. Beijing Huade Hydraulic Industrial Co.,Ltd produce 500,000 hydraulic valves, 20,000 hydraulic pumps and motors in 2006.
7. Chen xuedong, vice chairman of the CHPSA, won the 9th Science & Technology Award for Chinese Youth.
8. Establishment of Engineering Research Center for Machine-use Ruber Seal in last May. This center mainly concentrate on developing ruber seals of large size and high precision. Additionally, they undertake the works of reviewing industrial standards, promote international technical exchange, personnel training, quality inspection etc.
9. Successful PTC Asia 2006 Exhibition in Shanghai from Oct. 10 to 13 last year. 1248 enterprises attended this exhibition, over 3,000 foreign visitors came to Shanghai for it.
10. International cooperation. In April, Bosch Rexroth's new plant began formal operation in Jinqiao district, Shanghai; October, their Beijing plant which costed them RMB185 million also opened. Bosch Rexroth have founded 4 companies in China, having plants in Shanghai, Beijing and Changzhou.
March, Guangzhou Morgan Seal Co.,Ltd, a joint venture formed by Guangzhou Machinery Scientific Institute and Morgan Construction Corp. This company are designed to produce seals for oil-film bearings.
EATON built their plant in Jining, Shangdong province to produce hydraulic products. So far, they have 18 China-based plants, 26 sales offices, employing over 5,000 people.
