Longxi Bearing(LS) Reports 2006 Fiscal Result
Fujian Longxi Bearing (Group) Corp. reported their 2006 fiscal results on Mar. 29. Their operating margin were 501.79 million yuan, increased by 9.77 percent from last year; profit of their major business hit 185.12 million yuan, an year-on-year grow of 10.53 percent; net profit reached 79.15 million yuan, 14.40 percent higher than the prior year. Leader of the company attribute their progresses to the following five aspects:
1. Superior Research & Developing Capacity: The company boast the only State Institute of Joint Bearing, State Testing Center of Joint Bearing, Post-Doctoral Working Station as well as the Statics Lab that reaches Asian advanced level. At present, the company develops more than 200 new products every year. In 2006, 173 new joint bearings were developed.
2. Massive Production Scope: Longxi Bearing can produce over 2800 joint bearings, belonging to six categories. With annual capacity over 10 million sets, they have become the leading producer and exporter of joint bearings in China, holding 65-70% of domestic market share, about 12% of international share.
3. Reliable Quality: The LS brand bearings have been selected as Top Industrial Products by provincial authorities, Industry Ministry and the Central Government. The company is leading the way of joint bearing making in China. LS bearings have been exported to many developed countries in Europe and America.
4. Brand Effect: Longxi Bearing attached great importance to brand building, pursuing high performance and more reliable products as well as sustainable satisfactory from customers. As a result, the “LS” trademark was recognized by customers both at home and abroad. On Oct. 16, “LS” was selected by State Commercial & Industry Administration as Famous Trademark in China.
5. Efficient Management: For the characters of joint bearings such as numerous type, limited quantity per order and short lead-time, it’s difficult to control productive cost and arrange production. However, Longxi Bearing has been able to arrange production for more than 600 different types of bearings. This is based on the abundant experience they accumulated dozens of years working.
6. Cost-Effective: LS bearing has reached the level of their international equivalent, but its price are much more cheaper.
