Six New Products from C&U Group Won National Patent Certificate

On April 23, National Intellectual Property Bureau announced they would award C&U Group with “Utility Model Patent Certificate”for its six new products. These six patent products include: “Rolling Bearing”, “Tapered Roller Bearing Retainer”, “Deep Groove Roller Bearing Retainer”, etc. It was reported another new product had achieved patent certificate this year. Reportedly, C&U Group totally applied for 65 patents last year, among which 11 were Patents for Invention, 52 for Utility Model Patents and 2 for Design Patents. Founded in 1991, C&U Group is one of the largest bearing manufacturers in China, whose business varies from commercial supermarket, mechanical & electrical trade. Currently the number of employees has reached more than 9,700 and there are 98 subsidiaries (total assets of RMB1.99 billion.) in C&U Group. In 2006, the sales revenue was RMB4.004 billion, with profit and tax of RMB 0.26 billion.
