President of SKF China Participated in the Fifth China-EU Business Summit

The 12th China-EU Summit and the Fifth China-EU Business Summit were held in Nov. 30th, 2009 in Nanjing, the capital city of Jiangsu Province in the east of China.
Mr. Magnus Johansson, the President of SKF China and Mr. Hu Yueming, the Chief Execution Chairman of Nanjing High Speed & Accurate Gear Group Co., Ltd (NGC) have participated in the Fifth China-EU Business Summit.
The China-EU Relation and other global affairs were mainly discussed on the summit, including the economic recovery and climate change. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Jose Manuel Barroso, the Chairman of EU Commission, and John Fredrik Reinfeldt, the Premier of Sweden, the EU Rotating Presidency Country have witnessed the signing ceremony of five cooperative agreements. These agreements include China-EU Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation between China Ministry of Science & Technology and EU Commission on Developing near Zero Emissions Coal for Power Generation Technology through Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Project, Framework Agreement on Building Energy Efficiency and Quality between China Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development and Enterprise & Industry Department and Energy & Transportation Department of EU Commission, Supporting China Continuable Trade and Investment System, and China-EU Environment Governance Project.
SKF China assisted and arranged Mr. John Fredrik Reinfeldt, the Premier of Sweden, the EU Rotating Presidency Country, to visit Nanjing High Speed & Accurate Gear Group Co., Ltd (NGC). NGC is one of the important customers of SKF and its business has much achievement for the environment protection.
NGC is the leading provider in China which specialized in manufacturing various high speed heavy load gearbox. The products are widely used in the wind power, railway, ship, metallurgy and construction fields. SKF has provided the related products and technological solutions to NGC since 10 years ago. In recent years, NGC and SKF have worked together for the contibuable development and enhanced the partner relation in the renewable energy field. Mr. Liu Jianguo, the General Business Manager of NGC has highly appraised the cooperation with SKF when the Premier of Sweden visited the company.
Magnus Johansson, the President of SKF China, Ambassador of Sweden Mr. Mikael Lindstrom and Zhang Xiaolu, the Sales Manager of SKF China accompanied Mr. John Fredrik Reinfeldt visited NGC. Magnus Johansson said, “SKF is dedicated to the development of Chinese market. We are proud to share our knowledge with Chinese customers and assist them to step into success.”
