On March, 1st, Li Wancai, the Mayor of Dalian has met Seiichi Asaka, the Chairman of the Board of NSK in Dalian Municipal Government. The two parties have deep communication about Dalian bearing industry and NSK’s investment in Dalian, etc.
NSK, established in 1916, is the first manufacturer in Japan which designs and produces bearings. The company mainly develops, designs and produces bearings, auto parts and precision machines, etc. All the market share rates of NSK in ball bearings, auto bearings and ball screw industry are the first in the world. At present, the Company has established sales network in 20 countries and regions and has more than 50 plants. Li Wancai said that the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government highly attach importance to the development of bearing industry and is building up the largest supporting bearings industry manufacturing base of important technology equipments and international bearing industrial cluster in China. Currently, Dalian has the largest bearing manufacturing enterprise, test and detecting center, national technological research center in China and the famous brand represented by “ZWZ” and totally have more than 600 bearing manufacturing and supporting enterprises. Li Wancai said that NSK is an international famous enterprise, we would like to establish close cooperation with NSK, and we hope NSK takes Dalian as their important base for the development of the company and propels the high-end development of Dalian bearing industry while developing the Company itself. Dalian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will create favorable development environment for NSK.
It is learned that NSK planned to invest in the construction of a roller bearing plant in Dalian. Seiichi Asaka suggested that NSK is confident in the advantage of the bearing industry in Dalian and they will accelerate the completion of the project and contribute to the construction of Dalian.
