Linqing to Build up Bearing Expo City in Three Years

On May 27th, 2010 Linqing· China Bearing Industry Summit Forum was held. More than 400 principles and experts from the company in dozens of provinces and cities have discussed about the bearing industry development. In order to build up international and modernized new bearing market, Linqing will build up a bearing expo city, taking an gross area of 400,000 square meters. The total investment will be 580 million yuan and the project is planned to be completed in three years.
Zhang Xuanyu, the Secretary of Linqing Committee of the CPC and Director of Standing Committee of Linqing People's Congress introduced that the bearing industry in Linqing has a history of 50 years so far. It has formed many bearing industrial clusters which takes Yandian, Panzhuang and Tangyuan as the center, expanding to the whole city and the surrounding counties and regions, and is called “China Bearing Town”. At Present, there are 1120 bearing manufacturing enterprises, in which 123 enterprises have large scope. The number bearing distributors reaches 12,000. Last year, the business income in bearing industry has accomplished 13 billion yuan. There are 100 bearing exporting enterprises in Linqing and the products are exported to 40 countries and regions including Japan, U. S. and Germany. The market share in China reaches 10% and above.
Since last year, Linqing has invested 64 million yuan to upgrade and reform the Yandian Bearing Market and establish public service platform in Yandian Trading Logistic Park. Yandian Bearing Market takes an area of 1,200 mu with the gross area of 420,000 square meters. There are 3,120 fixed shop and store in the market. It is one of the top 10 industrial products trade market. Last year, the market sales reached 7.5 billion yuan.
After the bearing expo city is completed, the area of Yandian Bearing Market will be expanded to 800,000 square meters and become a large wholesale market.
