Kaydon Corporation Bearings Division and Cooper Bearings will host a joint exhibit at the International WorkBoat Show booth #1362, December 5-7, 2012, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
The Kaydon/Cooper booth will feature Kaydon slewing ring bearing solutions found in shipboard and portside cranes, winches, thrusters, and other heavy-duty applications that require significant load-carrying capacity. Kaydon slewing ring bearings provide optimal economy and life within a given dimensional footprint. The booth will also showcase the Cooper split-to-the-shaft bearings found in marine propulsion shafts and generator drives. From military and offshore support vessels to ferries, fishing boats, and tugs, Cooper split bearings provide ease of maintenance, reliability, and flexibility out at sea.
Kaydon provides bearing repair and replacement for slewing ring bearings up to 240". Bearings from any OEM can be remanufactured or replaced at a savings of up to 60%, with good-as-new performance and a full two-year warranty. Kaydon can reverse-engineer and manufacture to any OEM's original specs in its ISO 9001:2008 certified remanufacturing facility. Cooper Bearings also offers a bearing reconditioning program that affords similar savings and product warranty.
