NSK now supplies its high-precision LH and LS series of ball guides from a British production plant. The guides, which come in sizes 15 to 45, are available in a range of precision classes up to P5 - lengths of up to 2 m. By joining individual lengths together, endless lengths can be produced in PC-Accuracy. They are hallmarked by extremely quiet running and a very high shock absorption capacity. From the user’s perspective, the self-aligning sliders pave the way for reductions in the complexity and costs associated with machine base preparation.
With this set of features, the high-precision ball guides are ideal for applications in areas such as metrology, semiconductor production, medical technology and automation plants. With options such as K1 lubrication units, double seals and steel protectors, they can also be customised for specific applications.
As demand for the LH and LS series is constantly growing in Europe, making the relevant capacity available at a European production plant was a logical move. Now, customers can benefit from faster deliveries as a result. This also applies to the six-row ball guides in the LA series, as models 25 to 45 are now made in England too. These ball guides are primarily used in machine tools and for extreme loads.
