A bearing project of KMR was listed among projects of Science and Technology Development Plan in Shandong

Shandong Camery (KMR) Bearing Science & Technology Co., Ltd reported in September that the project of “Mine Vibrating Machinery Self-aligning Spherical Roller Bearings” independently develop by the company was listed among projects of Science and Technology Development Plan. The product, “Mine Vibrating Machinery Self-aligning Spherical Roller Bearings”, offers longer life and high reliability. The design of special outer ring raceway restrains the sliding of rollers, making the long life of bearing become possible. Meanwhile, the further improved design of curvature factor between the raceway surface and rollers decreases the surface contact stress on the inner and outer ring raceway surface and ultimately reduce the surface fatigue damage while restrains the roller sliding. The application of these technologies will increase the service life by more than two times over normal spherical roller bearings. After approval and initiation in 2012, the project passed the provincial science and technology achievement appraisal. The appraisal result indicated that the project has reached the international advance level. Now it has completed small trial production and is expected to realize mass production in February, 2015.
