The 7th China Bearing Forum and The 40th Anniversary of Establishment of Bearing Department, co-organized by Henan University of and Technology, Luoyang Bearing Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and "Bearing" Magazine, was held from October 18 to 19, 2014. Related leaders from across government, well-known experts and scholars from research institutes and enterprises in the bearing industry, as well as other universities took part in the forum. "The 12th Five-Year Plan" in the sector of Bearing industry has recognized Henan University of Science and Technology as the only university in China emphasizing on personnel training and providing technical support to the bearing industry. For 40 years, the University has cultivated a number of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological talents, and established good partnership with many domestic and foreign bearing enterprises, thus praised as "Whampoa Military Academy in China's Bearing Industry" for its contributions in promoting the development of the bearing industry.
