ZWZ’s nondestructive testing technology has made a breakthrough

The NDT (nondestructive test) Laboratory of ZWZ National Large Bearing Engineer Technology Center’s nondestructive testing technology, which is used in supporting bearing testing for worldwide famous companies, has made a breakthrough. The highest sensitivity of the current system test has achieved test requirements. NDT is a detection way of checking the surface and internal quality of parts without damaging the workpiece or raw material conditions. There are 5 nondestructive testing technology, namely ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, coloring (infiltration) detection , eddy current testing and radiation detection. Ultrasonic testing (UT) is a family of non-destructive testing techniques based on the propagation of ultrasonic waves in the object or material tested. The general testing methods in China are in low accuracy and decreased efficiency. In order to improve detection accuracy, it took ZWZ engineer technicians a year to study testing standards and testing data of European and American countries. Currently, the NDT laboratory is developing a more accurate and efficient testing technology.
