ZWZ's 160 km/h Express Boxcar Bearing Project made great progress

The 160 km/h Express Boxcar Bearing project jointly undertaken by Wafangdian Bearing Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as ZWZ) and Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as SRI) has made great progress with the completion of all product development. The next section will be the bench test. The express boxcar will only run for the E-commerce companies on the Beijing-Shanghai line, Beijing-Guangzhou line and other popular lines. China's railway freight rate will enter the high-speed era where the average speed is 160 km/h instead of current 100km/h. Express boxcars have great market prospects for obvious advantages such as cargo efficiency improvement and logistics cost reduction, which will bring considerable benefits for E-commerce and logistics enterprises. The express boxcar axle box bearings have now passed the thermal performance test, though which the temperature rise is proved to comply with the requirements of the TB/T3000-2000 "Thermal Test Method For Rolling Stock Axle Box Bearing". Currently, these bearing are under the durability tests.
