AnSteel now provides full range of automotive fastener cold heading steel

With the successive delivery of Q40Cr and QSCM435 automotive fastener cold heading steel products, AnSteel Wire Plant has become one of the few manufacturers in China able to provide full range of automotive fastener cold heading steel. Automotive fasteners fall into two categories: common fasteners and safety fasteners. Before, the plant could only produced common fastener cold heading steel for the automotive sector. However, the plant gradually paid attention to the development of automobile safety fastener cold heading steel in recent years. The Q40Cr and QSCM435 produced recently are steels for safety fasteners, which will be then used in the braking system. It is reported that more than half the share of China's automotive fastener cold heading steel market was occupied by Japan, South Korea and other countries, and only a handful of manufacturers in China are able to produce such products.
