ZYS spindle bearings and gearbox bearings help the world largest 26 MW offshore wind turbine unit roll off the production line
On October 12, 2024, the spindle bearings and gearbox bearings independently developed by ZYS helped the world's largest 26-megawatt offshore wind turbine unit to roll off the production line smoothly, achieving independent control of key components. This indicates that my country's high-power wind power bearing technology has reached the world's leading level, and has provided strong technical support for my country to build a new power system and achieve the "dual carbon" goal.
During the development of the 26 MW spindle bearings and gearbox bearings, ZYS, in collaboration with Oriental Wind Power, stepped up independent innovation efforts in response to the fully integrated semi-direct drive technology route. After repeated optimization and comparison of design solutions, optimization of heat treatment process parameters, and research on contact fatigue life, they overcame the challenges of forward design of oversized bearings, anti-fatigue manufacturing, nano-level coating of parts surfaces, preload, and life prediction, ensuring the corrosion resistance, high load-bearing capacity, high reliability, and long life requirements of the bearings.
ZYS is committed to leading the technological progress of wind power bearings. In recent years, it has developed the first domestically produced 8MW full-series gearbox bearings, the first domestically produced 7MW, 10MW, and 18MW TRB wind power main shaft bearings. Now 10MW wind power spindle bearings and gearbox bearings have been used in batches, continuously injecting new momentum into the development of the industry and the realization of the dual-carbon strategy.
At present,ZYS can achieve an annual production capacity of 3,000 sets of wind power spindle bearings and 2,500 sets of wind power gearbox bearings.
