China Ningxia first 10,000-ton green hydrogen production, storage and transmission project started construction
On November 4, the groundbreaking ceremony of the 16,500-ton green hydrogen project, the Taiyangshan Green Hydrogen Production, Storage, Transportation and Use Integration Project (Phase I), Ningxia's first 10,000-ton green hydrogen project, was held in Taiyangshan Development Zone, Wuzhong City. The project has integrated industrial ecology such as green electricity hydrogen production, hydrogen energy transportation, green ammonia and green methanol, and hydrogen ammonia methanol coupling chemical industry, opening up the ventilation, light, hydrogen and ammonia industrial chains, marking a solid step forward in the construction of Taiyangshan's "China Hydrogen Ammonia Valley".
The 16,500-ton green hydrogen project started this time is the first phase of the project, with a total investment of 2.086 billion yuan (RMB, the same below). It mainly constructs a green electricity water electrolysis hydrogen production device and a green oxygen recovery device with an annual output of 16,500 tons of green hydrogen and 132,000 tons of green oxygen, a transmission pipeline (in-plant pipeline and external transmission interface), 17 1,875m3 hydrogen gas tanks, and a filling and refueling platform, and supporting environmental protection, safety, electrical and other facilities. After reaching full production, it is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of 328.5 million yuan and pay 38 million yuan in value-added tax. With the signing of six key projects on site, including hydrogen production equipment and testing research, green hydrogen integrated engineering design and construction, high-power hydrogen heavy truck application, and green hydrogen chemical coupling application, it will drive the coordinated development of renewable energy power generation, hydrogen energy equipment, fuel cell vehicles, hydrogen refueling stations, green chemicals and other industries and infrastructure in the surrounding areas.
As one of the 11 "Green Power Park" pilot parks in Ningxia, Taiyangshan Development Zone actively promotes the green transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure, continuously optimizes the integrated layout of wind power, photovoltaic and energy storage projects, accelerates the pilot construction of "Green Power Park", and helps build a green development pioneer city and energy comprehensive demonstration city. Focus on introducing three hydrogen energy production and storage enterprises, with a planned total investment of 4.387 billion yuan and a registered annual hydrogen production scale of 36,500 tons.
