The DTE145 wide-body mining truck released this time has a maximum load capacity of 91t. It is another phased result of the close cooperation between Tongli Heavy Industry and Qiyuan Core Power, and will provide Rio Tinto Group with safer, more efficient and environmentally friendly engineering transportation solutions.

Rio Tinto Group plans to reduce emissions from its operations by 50% by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions from its operations by 2050. This time, Rio Tinto's pilot project of pure electric battery-swap mining trucks in its mine operations is an important step in achieving its carbon reduction goals.
