Guomao reducer helps the port's first crawler bucket wheel loader to be officially put into use

With the roar of the machine, a long "blue arm" rotated precisely above a dump truck, and the crawler belt transported the goods to the truck without stopping, and the whole process was completed in one go. Recently, at Qingdao Port in Shandong Port, as the goods were transferred to the dump truck, it marked the official commissioning of the first crawler bucket wheel loader in the domestic port. It is worth mentioning that the two types of reducers used in the loader are both from Guomao Reducer Co.,Ltd.

The crawler bucket wheel loader mainly includes a bucket wheel mechanism, a material-retrieving belt conveyor, a crawler travel system, etc. It is driven by a diesel generator, and the material-retrieving and loading operation is powered by a 380V three-phase five-wire power supply, which meets both economic and environmental protection requirements.

It is understood that in the past, some cargoes at the port needed to be moved by dump trucks to designated yards for storage. The loading efficiency of a loader was about 600 tons per hour, consuming nearly 30 liters of fuel. The process operation efficiency was low, the energy consumption was high, and the labor intensity of the workers was high. There were certain safety hazards in the cross-operation of machinery.

In order to change this situation, Guomao Reducer Co.,Ltd. cooperated with Qingdao Port of Shandong Port to form a joint research team to transform the process of material-retrieving and loading mode at the front of the terminal, helping the latter to successfully develop the first crawler bucket wheel loader in the country's ports, thereby realizing electric continuous material-retrieving and loading operations, reducing the fuel consumption of mobile mechanical equipment, and saving more than 100,000 liters of fuel each year, effectively taking into account economic and environmental benefits. At the same time, the new equipment only requires one person to operate wirelessly remotely, realizing the separation of man and machine while minimizing the safety hazards of operation.

It is reported that on this loader, two types of reducers are equipped with "Guomao" brand reducers: one is the industrial planetary GX series reducer innovatively developed by Guomao Heavy Duty Division - planetary reducer for GX bucket wheel machine, and the other is the GK series reducer lean manufactured by the General Assembly Department of Guomao General Reducer Division - reducer for GK belt conveyor.

Among them, the planetary reducer for GX bucket wheel machine, as the main reducer of bucket wheel mechanism, has compact structure, small size, light weight, large load capacity, and overload protection. The motor and reducer are driven by hydraulic coupling, equipped with forced lubrication and cooling fan, which is suitable for lubrication and cooling in different positions.
