Recently, the molten salt pump developed by Lanzhou Lan Pump Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Lan Pump Company), a member unit of the CSPPLAZA platform, for the Jining Huayuan Thermal Power Molten Salt Energy Storage Peaking and Frequency Modulation Project has been running stably at the project site. The VMS series molten salt pump independently developed by Lan Pump Company has small vibration, high stability, and has the advantages of easy maintenance and adjustment. The Jining Huayuan project is the first successful case of smooth operation among the projects included in the framework agreement.

The successful commissioning of the Huayuan project is a new breakthrough of Lan Pump Company in the field of power plant flexibility transformation, and has achieved all-round application in the field of power plant flexibility transformation. Project Overview: This project is the first "steam-electricity" combined heating molten salt energy storage project in China. The first phase will build a 50MW molten salt energy storage system with a rated steam supply of 75 tons/hour, filling the technical gap of "steam + electric heating molten salt" to assist coal-fired power peak and frequency regulation and thermal-electric decoupling in my country. Compared with traditional hot molten salt energy storage projects, it has the advantages of higher energy conversion efficiency and stronger peak-shaving capacity. It has a strong demonstration and driving role in ensuring regional heat safety, improving regional new energy consumption, and helping to achieve dual carbon goals.
