Since the beginning of this year, under the influence of policies such as vigorously promoting new industrialization, new industrial momentum has been cultivated and strengthened, corporate expectations have improved, and industrial production has maintained a steady and rapid growth overall.

The latest data shows that in the first two months of this year, the equipment manufacturing industry grew by 10.6% year-on-year, 2.9 percentage points faster than the whole of the previous year, providing strong support for the steady and rapid growth of industrial production.

Since the beginning of this year, my country's industrial high-end and intelligent development trend has been obvious. In the first two months, the added value of high-tech manufacturing increased by 9.1% year-on-year, 0.2 percentage points faster than the whole of the previous year. From the product point of view, from January to February, the output of industrial robots and integrated circuit wafers increased by 27% and 19.6% respectively. The large-scale application of domestic artificial intelligence general large models in key industrial fields such as electronics and automobiles has accelerated, enabling industrial innovation and development, and the expansion of computing power demand has driven the rapid growth of related industries. In the first two months, the added value of digital product manufacturing increased by 9.1% year-on-year, and server output increased by 73%.

Fu Linghui, spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics and director of the Department of Comprehensive Statistics of the National Economy, introduced that, under the background of accelerating integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, cutting-edge technologies such as information technology and artificial intelligence drive industrial transformation and strengthen, and are increasingly becoming new engines of industrial development.

There is huge investment space in my country's new industrialization, new urbanization, energy-saving and carbon-reduction transformation and other fields; from the perspective of the whole year, there are many favorable conditions for my country's economy to maintain stable and healthy development.

From the perspective of industrial foundation, my country's manufacturing scale has ranked first in the world for 15 consecutive years, the integration and development of advanced manufacturing and productive services has accelerated, and the development of life services has good conditions. The emergence of artificial intelligence has driven the development of related industries.

From the perspective of market demand, the expansion of new consumption such as green digital and service consumption such as elderly care and childcare will become an important driving force for consumption growth. There is huge investment space in new industrialization, new urbanization, energy-saving and carbon-reduction transformation, and there is still a large investment demand in people's livelihood such as basic public services and affordable housing.

Fu Linghui, spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics and director of the Department of Comprehensive Statistics of the National Economy, said that we should seize the current opportunity of economic recovery, intensify the implementation of various macro policies, strive to achieve the expected goals of economic and social development for the whole year, and lay a solid foundation for the smooth conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and a good start to the 15th Five-Year Plan.
