2025 The China National Seminar on Bearing Process Equipment Development and Application Technologies was held in Wuxi of Jiangsu Province

From May 20 to 22, 2025, the 2025 National Bearing Process Special Equipment Development and Application Technology Seminar was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu. Just as the seminar was held, the great news came that General Secretary Xi visited Luoyang Bearing. During the inspection, the General Secretary pointed out: "Modern manufacturing cannot be separated from the empowerment of science and technology. We must vigorously strengthen technological research and take the path of independent innovation." It pointed out the direction for the development of our bearing industry. This greatly encouraged all participants and once again demonstrated the care and attention of the party and state leaders to the bearing industry.

The seminar was hosted by the China Bearing Industry Association, organized by the Technical Committee of the China Bearing Industry Association and the Planning and Development Advisory Working Committee of the China Bearing Industry Association, and co-organized by the Jiangsu Bearing Industry Association, Wuxi Shuangyi Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Wuxi Jianhe CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Machine Tool Co., Ltd. More than 260 representatives from all over the country attended the meeting.

Zhou Yu, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizer. Chen Enhou, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Wang Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Machinery International Engineering Co., Ltd.; and Sun Xiao, Chairman of the Jiangsu Bearing Industry Association, delivered speeches on behalf of the organizer, co-organizer and host, expressing sincere welcome to the leaders and guests attending the meeting and warm congratulations on the successful convening of the seminar.

In his speech, Chairman Zhou Yu pointed out that bearing technology and bearing equipment are important carriers and core elements in the bearing manufacturing process. The two are interdependent, mutually supportive, and co-prosperous, and jointly promote the progress and growth of bearing manufacturing technology. This year is also the planning year for the "15th Five-Year Plan". At present, international competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and there are still shortcomings in the field of bearing equipment: the stability and precision retention of some products are still behind the international advanced level, and the high-end market is still controlled by others. These problems remind us that we must keep a clear mind, face the gap with courage and forge ahead, and make up for shortcomings and forge strengths with the spirit of seizing the day. Promote the leap from "having" to "excellent" of domestic bearing equipment, and inject stronger kinetic energy into the construction of a strong bearing country!

Liu Qiaofang, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Bearing Industry Association, made a special report entitled "Strengthening Weaknesses and Forging Strengths to Further Improve the Modernization Level of my country's Bearing Process Equipment and Industrial Chain". The "Report" pointed out that the level of bearing process equipment reflects the technical strength of the bearing industry and is the cornerstone of the high-quality development of the bearing industry. Since the "14th Five-Year Plan", the overall technical level of bearing-specific equipment has made great progress. The report expounds on the current achievements and problems in the field of bearing process equipment in the industry, and focuses on clarifying the development direction of bearing process equipment.

In the technical seminar, more than 20 experts from leading enterprises in the industry such as the Axis Research Institute, Renben, Luozhou, Wuxi Shuangyi, Zhejiang Rifa, Xinxiang Risheng, Wuxi Machine Tool, and well-known scholars from universities such as Henan University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Tianjin University, and Wuhan University of Technology exchanged views on the development and application of industry process equipment, covering eight major technical fields such as bearing manufacturing, forging technology, turning, grinding, automatic assembly line, rolling element processing, smart factory, testing instruments and lubrication technology. From different levels and perspectives, with different products and technologies as the entry point, the advanced technology of bearing process equipment was shared with everyone, which resonated with the delegates.

After the meeting, a special field visit was organized to three benchmarking enterprises in Wuxi: Wuxi Shuangyi Precision, which focuses on the research and development of automatic assembly line technology, Wuxi Jianhe CNC, which is deeply engaged in the research and development of CNC centerless grinding machine tools, and Wuxi Machine Tool Co., Ltd., one of the leading enterprises in bearing equipment. This event has built a high-quality communication platform for industry-university-research cooperation in the field of equipment manufacturing through a combination of special seminars and field visits. This seminar is not only a collision of technologies, but also a joint construction of an industrial ecosystem. In the wave of global bearing technology moving towards the "new era of intelligent manufacturing", China's strength is using innovation as a paddle to break through the waves!
