Model Expert Tour by China National Trade Union Body Boosts Industrial Upgrade at NXZ Bearing
On September 5, the NXZ's special event of "Model Workers and Craftsmen Helping Enterprises" sponsored by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and organized by the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Federation of Trade Unions was launched. Shen Zuoqun, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region People's Congress and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, awarded the Ningxia Craftsmen College Skill Instructor Appointment Letter to 5 model workers and craftsmen from Guangdong, Liaoning, Henan, Shanxi and other places.
Founded in 1965, NXZ is a 60-year-old enterprise that participated in the "Third Front Construction" initiative. With the support of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Federation invited five exemplary craftsmen in the fields of bearing R&D, manufacturing, and automation to visit NXZ's production lines to provide targeted technical assistance and address production bottlenecks.
Experts participating in this enterprise support program include: Wang Bing, Chief Engineer and Guangdong Craftsman of Yingke Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province; Na Fu, a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and maintenance electrician at the Wafangdian Bearing Group in Liaoning Province; Qu Daojun, a technical expert at the Wafangdian Bearing Group in Liaoning Province; Qiu Ming, a professor at Henan University of Science and Technology and a mechanical equipment manufacturing expert; and Wang Jianmei, Vice President of Shanxi Institute of Engineering and Technology. They all possess extensive experience in bearing R&D, manufacturing, and automation.
At the event, at the initiative of the Autonomous Region Federation of Trade Unions, model workers and experts signed a technical assistance framework agreement with NXZ, promoting the regularization and long-term effectiveness of these support activities.
In recent years, the Autonomous Region Federation of Trade Unions has continuously deepened reforms in the development of the industrial workforce. Through initiatives such as the establishment of a craftsman academy, the promotion of "Saishan craftsmen," and the organization of "Model Workers Supporting Enterprises" programs, efforts have been made to address skill gaps among local industrial workers. This technical assistance program is not only a beneficial practice in cross-regional talent collaboration, but also injects new momentum into the high-quality development of Ningxia's manufacturing industry.
