2025 Rolling Elements Industry High-Quality Development Conference Concludes Successfully in Rugao

To fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and focusing on the development strategy and direction of the rolling element industry, the "2025 High-Quality Development Conference of the Rolling Element Industry and the Inaugural Meeting of the Rolling Element Expert Committee of the Technical Committee of the China Bearing Industry Association," guided by the China Bearing Industry Association, hosted by the Technical Committee of the China Bearing Industry Association, and co-organized by Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Lixing General Steel Ball Co., Ltd., was grandly held in Rugao City, Jiangsu Province, from October 31st to November 1st. Attendees included Zhou Yu, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association; Liu Qiaofang and Wang Zijun, Deputy Secretaries-General; Wang Chunhua, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Rugao City; Jiang Wei, General Manager of Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Li Wenchao, Deputy General Manager of Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Shi Xianggui, Chairman of Lixing Group; Shen Changyin, Chairman of Dong'e Group; and other leaders. More than 240 experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from the national rolling element and bearing industry chain gathered to jointly explore new paths for rolling element technology and collaboratively write a new chapter.

At the opening ceremony, leaders delivered speeches. Zhou Yu, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association, pointed out: "Rolling elements, as the core component of bearings, are a key support for promoting the high-end and high-quality development of my country's bearing industry. Enterprises at all stages of development must attach importance to R&D and innovation investment, plan for the long term in line with national strategies, and at the same time comply with environmental protection requirements, focusing on energy conservation and emission reduction." Jiang Wei, General Manager of Luoyang Bearing Research Institute, stated that accelerating the R&D and application of energy-saving and environmentally friendly new materials and processes is an important measure to address the manufacturing industry's move towards high-end, intelligent, and green development. As the only national-level Class A comprehensive research institute in the bearing industry, the Luoyang Bearing Research Institute will strengthen collaborative innovation between industry, academia, and research, making due contributions to promoting the improvement of rolling element technology and manufacturing capabilities.

This conference established the Rolling Element Expert Committee of the Technical Committee of the China Bearing Industry Association, marking a new stage of specialization and systematization in my country's rolling element industry's technological research, innovation collaboration, and industry-academia-research integration. During the conference, industry experts exchanged multiple technical reports on core issues of the rolling element industry, covering trends in rolling element materials, processing, equipment, and testing technologies. Meanwhile, a special seminar was held on new materials, new technologies and new processes in the field of rolling elements, providing cutting-edge ideas for industrial upgrading. After the meeting, the delegates visited Lixing General Steel Ball Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Wanda Special Bearing Co., Ltd.

The successful convening of this conference will inject strong momentum into the construction of my country's bearing industry and write a new chapter in the development of the industry amidst the wave of cultivating new quality productivity.
