Over 100 New Products from NXZ Bearing Fill Critical Industry Gaps

On November 11th, it was learned from NXZ that the company has developed an advanced integrated CAD/CAPP/PLM design system and a dynamic finite element simulation system for bearings, reaching advanced levels in China's bearing industry. It boasts an annual new product development capacity of 200 types, with over 100 new products developed in recent years filling industry gaps.

NXZ is one of my country's backbone bearing manufacturers, capable of producing over 8,000 types of rolling and sliding bearings, with an annual production capacity of 1.8 million sets. Its products are widely used in mainframe applications in metallurgical rolling mills, oil drilling rigs, rail transportation, heavy-duty trucks, construction machinery, mining, machine tools, and motors, and are sold to over 50 countries and regions. Its R&D and manufacturing capabilities, particularly in bearings for petroleum machinery, are at a leading level.

NXZ continuously enhances its technological innovation capabilities, building a multi-level, high-level R&D system. With a nationally recognized enterprise technology center, a postdoctoral research station, and a nationally and locally jointly constructed large-scale special bearing engineering laboratory as its core pillars, the company actively promotes deep integration of industry, academia, and research. It has established a research team of over 100 people, including professors, senior engineers, experts enjoying special allowances from the State Council, and postdoctoral fellows, forming several autonomous region-level innovation teams and talent hubs, such as the "Petroleum Machinery Bearing R&D Team," providing a solid platform and intellectual support for continuous technological breakthroughs. The company has won more than 20 national and autonomous region science and technology progress awards and obtained 147 national patents, including 32 invention patents.

Many innovative technologies, represented by these achievements, have been successfully applied in several key national fields and filled gaps in the industry. Addressing the industry challenge of frequent maintenance of beam pumping unit bearings in domestic oilfields, NXZ has developed a patented maintenance-free sealed self-aligning roller bearing. This product adopts a contact-type skeleton sealing structure, meeting the needs of field operations while achieving an 8-10 year maintenance-free cycle. Some bearings have a theoretical lifespan exceeding 20 years, effectively solving the pain point of high workload in field maintenance of pumping unit bearings.

In the field of metallurgical rolling mill bearings, NXZ's 577796S and 477752S series of four-row tapered roller bearings and bearings for 1450mm six-roll reversible cold rolling mills have been recognized as key national new products due to their high precision, high load capacity, and long service life. Currently, these products are widely used in major domestic steel companies such as Baowu Steel, Shougang Group, and Ansteel, making NXZ a leading supplier to many domestic steel companies and exporting to countries and regions such as India, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe. In the field of cement machinery bearings, five major product series have been developed, basically covering large and extra-large bearings used in the cement machinery industry. In the rail transit sector, NXZ's independently developed subway axle box bearings have passed over one million kilometers of operation verification on Beijing Subway Line 8. Many of the company's products adopt unique sealing and compact designs, combining long service life and high reliability; they also perform excellently under extreme operating conditions. The imported replacement bearings developed for coal scraper conveyors are adapted to the harsh environment of high dust and continuous operation in underground coal mines, achieving zero-failure operation. The dedicated insulated motor bearings for power systems have insulation performance and vibration control superior to industry standards, meeting the requirements for efficient and stable power generation.
