Major Milestone Achieved: CNNC SUFA Delivers 36-Inch Metal-Sealed Ball Valve

Recently, a 36-inch large-diameter metal-sealed ball valve independently developed by Suzhou CNNC Su-valve Co., Ltd. (the ball and butterfly plant of the Petrochemical Division), a subsidiary of CNNC Technology, successfully passed the owner's acceptance and was delivered. This specification of metal-sealed ball valve represents the largest diameter independently developed and manufactured by CNNC Technology in the field of metal hard-seal ball valves, filling the gap in the company's large-diameter metal-sealed ball valves. This marks a new milestone for CNNC Technology in the design and manufacturing capabilities of its high-end industrial valve product line for large-diameter metal-sealed ball valves.

This batch of 36-inch diameter ball valves, each 2.5 meters high and weighing over 12 tons, placed high demands on design, manufacturing, and inspection capabilities due to their massive size and weight, especially the extremely stringent torque precision control required for the electric actuators. The Ball Butterfly Plant fully leveraged its collaborative advantages, coordinating all aspects of design, processing, assembly, and testing from initial planning to final delivery. With concerted efforts from all staff, they effectively solved numerous technical challenges in valve manufacturing, ensuring the successful completion of this heavy-duty product.

The successful delivery of these large-diameter metal-sealed ball valves not only expands CNNC Technology's market business but also accumulates valuable experience for the design and manufacturing of subsequent ball valve products.
