NXZ Bearing Successfully Innovates CNC Grinding Machine Technology

Recently, the NXZ Equipment Manufacturing Workshop completed a major technological upgrade—an innovative transformation of the loading and unloading mechanisms of two CNC internal diameter grinding machines (models 3MK2040 and 3MK2050) in the large-scale section of the finished product workshop. This upgrade abandoned the traditional cylinder-driven method and introduced a more advanced servo drive system, effectively solving two long-standing production problems: "loading damaging the support" and "insufficient unloading thrust."

Precise Control, Eliminating Hidden Dangers

The core of the upgrade lies in replacing the original cylinder-driven mechanism with a high-precision servo motor, directly connecting it to a precision lead screw via a coupling, achieving digital and precise control of the loading and unloading process. This not only allows for flexible adjustment of workpiece displacement and speed according to specific process requirements but also completely changes the previous rough, impact-based loading method, replacing it with a more stable and accurate placement method. Furthermore, to further ensure workpiece safety, an auxiliary cylinder ejection device was added between the two support points, ensuring that the workpiece can be gently lifted from the support after grinding and smoothly pulled out by the main servo system, thus solving the problem of insufficient thrust caused by unstable air pressure.

Optimized Human-Machine Interface, Enhanced Operational Ease

Each upgraded piece of equipment is equipped with an independent small electrical cabinet and control system, utilizing servo drives and motors from Huichuan and electrical components from renowned brands such as Schneider Electric, ensuring system stability and durability. The newly added touchscreen and electronic handwheel significantly improve the user experience, allowing operators to easily set parameters, monitor status, and perform manual fine-tuning, increasing work efficiency while reducing the risk of misoperation.

Significant Results, Moving Towards Full-Scale Implementation

This technological upgrade not only eliminated safety hazards in the traditional loading and unloading process but also significantly improved the equipment's continuous operation capability and production efficiency. The new loading and unloading mechanism is precise, smooth, and reliable, winning unanimous praise from on-site operators. Currently, the equipment manufacturing workshop is conducting a detailed evaluation of the comprehensive benefits of this upgrade and plans to gradually apply it to other similar equipment in the company in the future, aiming to achieve a comprehensive improvement in overall production levels.
