The first benchmark project of C&U Group thousand-acre bearing base in Changhe District—Hangzhou Bearing Technology Precision Automotive Bearing Base is advancing at full speed

On the North Platform of the Tianzihu Area in the Changsanhe (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone, eight tower cranes swung their giant arms, and transport vehicles shuttled back and forth—on this bustling construction site, the first benchmark project of the Changsanhe District Renben Group's thousand-acre bearing base, the "Hangzhou Bearing Technology Precision Automotive Bearing Base," is progressing at full speed. One year after construction began, the main structure of the factory buildings on the hundred-acre plot is nearing completion, marking the start of the thousand-acre bearing industrial park with "Changsanhe speed." As Renben Group's first strategic project in the Changsanhe District, this project carries a dual mission: a pioneer in strengthening the industrial chain, the Hangzhou Bearing project focuses on key components for new energy vehicles, strengthening the high-end manufacturing chain of the Changsanhe District; and a model of innovative development, the Hangzhou Bearing project, through the precise validation of a hundred-acre, billion-yuan-level project, accumulates experience for the subsequent development of the thousand-acre industrial park.

To safeguard enterprise development and ensure the company's goal of pilot production in 2026, the Changhe District Construction and Development Bureau innovated its service mechanism with triple support: dedicated personnel on-site, coordinated "large-scale promotion and handling," and simultaneous construction of supporting facilities. This enabled daily on-site coordination to resolve construction bottlenecks, cross-departmental efforts to overcome difficulties and obstacles, and the elimination of situations where "projects wait for supporting facilities."

The significance of the Hangzhou Bearing project extends far beyond its hundred acres of land—it marks the transition of Changhe District's "thousand-acre bearing base" from planning to implementation. With the locational upgrade brought about by the opening of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou high-speed railway, the area is striving to achieve several key milestones in a year, setting a new benchmark for industrial collaboration in the Yangtze River Delta. The next bearing cluster has already set sail on the shores of Tianzi Lake!

Project Introduction

Hangzhou Bearing Technology's project to produce 42 million sets of low-noise, long-life, high-precision automotive bearings annually. Located in the North Platform of Tianzihu Area, Changhe District, the project is invested and constructed by Renben Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1.02 billion yuan. It involves 145 mu of new construction land, 200,000 square meters of new building area, and the addition of equipment such as double-end face grinders, centerless grinders, and air compressors. The project aims to build a production line for low-noise, long-life, high-precision bearings with internationally advanced standards. This project is a key component of the new energy vehicle industry chain in Changhe District, and after reaching full production capacity, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 1.16 billion yuan, an annual profit of 110 million yuan, and annual tax revenue of 80 million yuan. Construction began in October 2024, with a cumulative investment of approximately 300 million yuan. Currently, the main structure of the plant is under construction, and it is planned to be basically completed by 2025.
