On March 25, the China Machinery Industry Federation organized and held 11 project achievement appraisal meetings in Wafangdian in the form of a combination of online and offline projects, including the "Development of Large MW Wind Power Gearbox Bearings" by ZWZ Bearing Group.

The appraisal committee listened to the report of the project development unit, reviewed relevant technical information, and inspected the site. After inquiry and discussion, it was concluded that the overall technology of the "Development of Large MW Wind Power Gearbox Bearings" project, the "Development and Industrialization of Wind Power 8MW New Structure, Low Friction 'E' Single Row Tapered Spindle Bearings" project, and the "Development and Industrialization of Heavy Cantilever Type Roadheader Spindle Bearings" project reached the international advanced level; "High reliability commercial vehicle hub assembly research and development and manufacturing" project, "Hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor bearings research and development and manufacturing" project, "Localization research and application of ultra-thin wall high-performance series bearings" project, "Optimization, improvement and application of support roller bearings for steel plate and strip rolling mill" project The overall technology of the project "Research and Development of High Precision High Speed Cold Rolling Roller Seal Bearing" and the project "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Axle Box Bearing of HXD1 AC Drive Locomotive" has reached the leading level in China; The overall technology of the "Research and Development of Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearings for High Speed and Low Thermal Power Spindles" project and the "Research and Development of High Speed, Low Energy Consumption, and Low Noise Motor Bearings" project has reached the domestic advanced level. The appraisal committee believes that ZWZ these 11 projects are technologically advanced and possess independent intellectual property rights, and agrees to pass the appraisal.

The "Research and Development of Large Megawatt Wind Turbine Gearbox Bearings" project has developed gear box bearings suitable for 7. XMW wind turbines. It has studied the contact friction characteristics between the ball base surface of the rolling element and the large rib of the inner ring. Based on actual working conditions, it has determined the profile and crown modification amount of the roller busbar, and proposed a calculation method for the diameter of the small rib of the inner ring and the micro extension amount of the cage, ensuring the rotational accuracy and stability of the finished bearing. The project of "Development and Industrialization of Low Friction" E "Single Row Tapered Spindle Bearings with a New 8MW Wind Power Structure" has conducted dynamic simulation analysis on the bearings, developed "E" cages, replaced carburized steel with bearing steel, and developed a bainite quenching process for large wall thick rings, which has shortened the production cycle and improved the bearing capacity of the bearings. The project "Research and development of main shaft bearings for heavy-duty cantilever roadheader" studied the impact of different axial clearances on bearing life, designed the minimum shrinkage of the cage, adjusted process parameters, and improved the service life of the bearings. The installation and application of bearings in three projects by multiple customers have shown that they operate reliably and have good results, meet the use requirements, achieve localized replacement, and achieve significant economic and social benefits.
