Wanxiang Driveshaft Record New High in 1st Quarter In first quarter, Wanxiang CV Driveshaft factory has developed 76 new products, contributing to 52.11 percent of their total output value. It's a record high of the factory in quarterly developing of new products. With the steadily changing demand from both domestic and overseas market, as well as the much more fierce competition, developing new product has been critical to a successful operating. In recent years, Wanxiang CV Driveshaft has been attaching equal importance to both restructuring and product developing, strengthening their efforts in developing new products and exploiting market. 　　 At the beginning of this year, the factory implemented their strategic plan to develop new products for both new and old vehicles at the same time. On the one hand, progress has been rapid in building technical personnel team. For example, 5 more technical staffs were added to develop new product; environment of the designing office were improved; experts were invited to help design new products. On the anther hand, a scientific research managing system and project responsibility system were established. According to the responsibility system, project director should be responsible for every steps of new product project, such as market research, productive craft, quality control, cost control etc. The scientific research managing system laid a foundation for achieving technology innovation and producing excellent products. At the same time, technical staffs were encouraged to take their initiative in developing, leading to a shorter production cycle.
