WHMT Over Fulfill Annual Export Target Up to the end of April this year, Wuhan Heavy-duty Machine Tool Group (WHMT) has signed sales contract worth USD17 million with customers from South Korea, India and other countries. This has exceeded their designed annual target of USD6.5 million for export business. In recent years, WHMT has established marketing network featuring the integration of specialized division of labor and coordination among regions. With the ever-growing domestic market share, WHMT continue to open new markets in South Korea, Germany, Italy and other countries and regions. In 2006, they recorded a sale of 653 million yuan, 28.6% higher than those in 2005. And their tax payment, for the first time, exceeded 100 million to 120 million yuan. With increasing market share, recovering economic benefit, WHMT again become a place where various talents are gathered. So far, they have employed 130 college graduates, nearly 100 of them are bachelors or masters of well-known universities like Wuhan University, Huazhong Science & Technology University, Harbin Institute of Technology etc. laying foundation for their further world expansion. Wuhuan Heavy-duty Machine Tool Group was founded in 1958, mainly producing critical equipments for machinery, energy, aerospace, military, transportation, chemical and other industries. Their products include lathe, boring machine, milling machine, gearing processing machine, lazer machine tool, turnable work table etc.
