Recently, a large brushless synchronous motor independently developed by Hunan Electric Power Co., Ltd. (Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd.) was officially shipped to the Huaneng Jintan Comprehensive Energy Utilization 350MW salt cavern compressed air energy storage power generation project. As the core drive unit for the compressor unit, this motor will provide the power plant's powerful "heart," marking another significant step forward for Hunan Electric Power Co., Ltd. in the field of innovative energy storage equipment.
The Huaneng Jintan project is currently the world's largest compressed air energy storage power station in terms of single-unit power, total capacity, and overall efficiency. The main motors provided by Xiangtan Electric will directly contribute to the power station's core "peak shaving and valley filling" function, ensuring the stability and security of power grid operations.
Xiangtan Electric, focusing on key technology research and development, has successfully launched the TDWKS series of 10MW-150MW synchronous motors.
