FeiYue Pump Powers 100MW CSP Project to Grid Success
Recently, the first tower-type solar thermal power project of the State Energy Group—the 100MW Qinghai-Henan DC Transmission Phase II Project of Qinghai Gonghe Company—successfully achieved its grid connection target. Jiangsu Feiyue Pump Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Feiyue Pump Industry) provided key equipment, molten salt pumps, for the project.
As the first tower-type solar thermal power project of the State Energy Group, this project is located in the southern part of the Hainan Prefecture Ecological Solar Power Generation Park in Qinghai Province. It adopts the molten salt tower technology route and is an EPC general contractor undertaken by a consortium of China Power Construction Group Northwest Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and China Power Construction Group Hubei Engineering Co., Ltd. After completion, the project is expected to generate an average of 223 million kWh of electricity annually, saving approximately 68,100 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 185,400 tons annually, making a positive contribution to increasing the proportion of clean energy transmission in the Qinghai-Henan UHV transmission corridor. Feiyue Pump Industry provided two cold salt pumps and two hot salt pumps for the project. Its highly reliable molten salt pumps and professional service capabilities were highly praised by the project stakeholders.
In the field of concentrated solar power (CSP), Feiyue Pumps has successfully provided cold salt pumps, hot salt pumps, temperature regulating pumps, molten salt pumps, salt replenishment pumps, salt evaporation pumps, and salt discharge pumps for more than 20 CSP projects in China, including Supcon Delingha, Shouhang Dunhuang, CGN Delingha, CEEC Hami, Jinta Zhongguang Solar Energy, GN Gonghe, CEEC Gonghe, Datang Shichengzi, Three Gorges Hengji Energy Pulse Guazhou, CEEC Zhejiang Thermal Power Turpan, CNNC Yumen Xin'ao, Luneng Fukang, and Jixi Lugu DC. The molten salt pumps that have been put into operation are all running stably.
