CITIC Pacific Special Steel and SKF Successfully Conclude Their 2025 Second-Half Technical Exchange Day at Daye Special Steel

On December 22nd, CITIC Pacific Special Steel and SKF successfully held their 2025 Second Half-Year Technical Exchange Day at Daye Special Steel. The two sides engaged in in-depth dialogue and forward-looking discussions on bearing materials and manufacturing technologies for high-end equipment manufacturing fields such as aviation, robotics, high-speed rail, and wind power, as well as cooperation on low-carbon and sustainable industrial development.

Qian Weihua, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of SKF China and Northeast Asia, led a team of core technology, procurement, and sustainable development experts to attend.

Xu Xiaohong, Assistant President of CITIC Pacific Special Steel, along with key members of the entire bearing steel production, sales, and R&D team from its subsidiaries, also attended; Liu Wenxue, General Manager of Daye Special Steel, participated in the entire event.

Green Manufacturing Collaboration: In-depth discussions were held on carbon reduction strategies throughout the entire process of special steel production and bearing manufacturing, including low-carbon electric arc furnace smelting processes, the feasibility of large-scale application of green electricity, and the joint construction of a green and low-carbon standard system, jointly making green and low-carbon technologies a crucial pillar of core competitiveness.
